To know Daniel was to know a man who found happiness in the simple things—a quiet day outdoors, time spent working in his garden, the sound of music playing, and the comfort of reading his Bible. He didn’t need much to be content, because for Daniel, life was about the moments that mattered and the people he loved.
His greatest treasures were his family, especially his daughters, Tracy and Cheryl. The memories they made together will be carried in their hearts forever. Daniel and his daughters shared a special dream of traveling Route 66 together in his Chevy Impala. Though they may not have gotten to take that journey the way they imagined, the dream itself became part of their story—a reminder of the love, laughter, and time they shared.
Daniel leaves behind more than memories. He leaves pieces of himself in the lives of those he loved. His grandchildren will remember their grandfather, his daughters will forever carry the love of their father, and his family and friends will remember the man who enjoyed his garden, his music, his Bible, the outdoors, and the simple pleasures of life.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernice Provencher; his beloved wife, Sondra Provencher; his daughter, Karen Provencher; and his sister, Linda Rosenquist.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Tracy Provencher and Cheryl Provencher; his sisters, Susan Kingery and Sandy Salter; his grandchildren, Jasmine Rider, Anthony Rider Jr., Karen Provencher, Keshawn Provencher, Jaidan Provencher, Korben Kemper, and Daniel Provencher; one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
Although his chair may be empty, his music may no longer be playing, and his garden may be missing his hands, the love Daniel planted in the hearts of his family will continue to grow.
His journey on this earth has come to an end, but the memories he created will never fade. And perhaps, somewhere down that long road of memories, his Chevy Impala is still waiting for the journey along Route 66 that he dreamed of taking with his girls.
Daniel will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
