Debbye Darlene Styles

Debbye Darlene Styles, 60, of Groves, passed from this life on July 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jayne Gregory Waller and father, John Gregory, Jr.; her beloved grandparents, Roderick and Ethel Stubblefield and numerous aunts and uncles.

Debbye enjoyed life until many years of sickness prevented her from doing the things she enjoyed. As a young girl, she learned to play the bass guitar and sang beautifully. Debby’s mother and brother, Dennis ministered in music in many churches across the United States and Mexico.

Debbye was a missionary child and grew to love God with all her heart. Deep down Debbye knew that the suffering she endured was nothing compared to the time she would meet Jesus face to face. Herr Faith was unshakeable.

In passing she leaves many to mourn her death. Debbye is survived by her beloved son, Glenn L. Wotipka, III, of Hondo, Texas; her brother, Dennis Gregory, Sr., and his wife, Nancy of Fannett; her husband, Jim Styles of Austin, Texas; step-sons, Daniel and Shawn Styles of Austin, Texas; and numerous cousins and a granddaughter. Most of all to mourn her passing is her lifelong friend, Barbara Westby. In all sense of the word friend, Barbara was there for her at all times.

Funeral services for Debbye Styles will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, with interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. “Look up for our redemption draws high.”
