She was born in Kaplan, Louisiana to her father, Sidney George and beloved mother, Louise Meaux George. She graduated from, then, Southwestern Louisiana Institute in Lafayette, Louisiana where she met and later married Wilbur Owen Webster of Port Arthur, Texas. Married for 59 years, W.O. and Dolores raised 3 daughters: Melanie, Susan and Robin.
Everyone who knew Dolores knows that she adored her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bridge, cooking for her loved ones and making sure everyone around her was happy and well taken care of. Many of us have experienced, first-hand, her gift of hospitality. Her most recent favorite past-time was spending time with her great-grand-daughter, Savannah Grace. A special thanks to her caregiver and friend, JoAnn Baker.
Dolores was preceded in death by her father, Sidney George, and mother, Louise Meaux George. She was also preceded in death by her two eldest daughters, Melanie Ann Robbins and Susan Ann Webster. She is so happy to be reunited with them in heaven.

Dolores loved others and loved them well. She exemplified 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
