Douglas Wayne Erickson

Douglas was born on January 13, 1962, in Port Arthur, Texas to Patricia Ann LeBlanc Erickson and Glenn Lee Erickson. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980 and was a supervisor for Metalforms Ltd. in Beaumont. Doug loved to go fishing, enjoyed traveling with his family and friends; was very passionate about his work but mostly he loved his Dallas Cowboys and his family.

Survivors include his companion, Erma Julian of Beaumont; sons, Eric Erickson and his wife Paige of Nederland; Lance Lockhart of LaBelle, Texas and Devin Erickson of Vidor; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Frankie Pate; step-daughter, Devon Julian of Beaumont; sister, Donna Waguespack and her husband Ricky of Gramercy, Louisiana; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lauri Erickson and step-son, Eric Julian.

A visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Graveside service in Honor of Douglas Wayne Erickson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021, at Love Mausoleum located in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
