Erick Adams, age 98, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Groves. Erick was a native of Lafayette LA and long time resident of Groves. He served his country in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception - St. Peter the Apostle Parish and a member of the Grove Knights of Columbus. Erick retired from Gulf Refinery, he was a wielder.
Erick was preceded in death his wife Ruby and a son Randy. Survivors include his son, Eric "Ricky" Adams and his daughters, Pat Adams, Cathy Bradshaw and Gail Adams. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Erick will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will occur Monday, January 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Funeral Services following Monday at 11:00 AM.
Erick will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
