Francis was born on November 3, 1949, in Gary, Indiana to Mildred and Raymond “Red” Little. He was a Marine Corps Veteran; a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur and a retired operator with Gulf and Chevron Refineries. Francis was known as a bit of a handyman and loved to ride his motorcycle with his friends. His family and friends knew of him being a little stubborn from time to time and laughed about it but loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.
Francis is survived by his children, Francis Delray Little, Jr. and his companion, Pam of Port Arthur and Melissa Wilredge and her husband Donnell of Groves; grandchildren, Darrius and his companion, Zharia Bell of Port Arthur and Darriun Wilredge of Groves; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harvey Little; sister, Louise Menchacha and his wife, Vanessa “Van” Little who passed away in 2013.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a “Celebration of Life” Services to be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Cremation burial will take place at a later date at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
