George was the son of Paul and Jo Ann Barber of Nederland, Texas.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Joseph Ray Harrison, Jr., Alli Nicole Barber and Marissa Riley Barber.
His paternal grandparents are Paulette and Charles Bowden and James Washington Barber; and maternal grandparents, Danny William and Kay Emmert and Cindy Emmert and her husband, Steve Matlock; and great-grandmother, Vivian Emmert. Aunts and Uncles include Karen and Justin Gorham; Michael and Amber Emmert; Russell Emmert; Mason Emmert; James and Amy Barber; Melissa Barber; Leslie Barber; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with services to follow at, Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
