Gloria was born on April 6, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas, to Clyde and Vera Stansbury. She spent most of her life in Port Acres, Texas, where she shared 57 loving years of marriage with her husband, Vincent “Buster” Licatino. A loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Gloria had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her plants. Her homemade pizzas and cinnamon rolls were cherished by all who were lucky enough to enjoy them. A devoted homemaker and avid florist, Gloria found joy in baking and opening her home for family gatherings, creating a place where everyone felt welcome.
Gloria is survived by her sons James Scott Licatino, Timothy "Bo" Licatino, Michael Lewis Licatino, and daughter Debra Marie Licatino; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, and two great grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank Altus Hospice for the compassionate care given to her over the past 18 months. We are especially grateful for her daughter, Debra, and granddaughter, Danielle, whose selfless sacrifices, constant presence, and love surrounded her every day.
