Harold Glenn Norris

Harold Glenn Norris, 76, of Winnie, Texas passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Harold was born October 27, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas to Claude Norris and Mary Rose Daigle. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had an amazing sense of humor, loved music and playing the French harp. Harold loved being around people and he never met a stranger. He was an excellent entrepreneur and Manager of The Big Store in Crystal Beach.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Boyer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Norris; children, Mark Damon Norris, Rhonda Norris Baskin, Kristi Norris Arnold and Hilary Dane Norris; brothers, Randy Norris, Jesse Norris and sister, Sandy Brown. Mr. Norris also leaves behind grandchildren, Tucker and Tyler Baskin, Austin Arnold, Kade Phillips, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Grammier-Oberle. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery, Port Neches.
