Harold was a wonderful man and a very delightful person to be around. We were in Sertoma together and he and my father, W.J. Thompson were very good friends. I know my dad will miss him as well as I as well as the many friends he made over the years. With deepest sympathies for the Placette family from the Thompson Family.

Mr. Harold was my neighbor for many years before me and my family moved to Mauriceville. He was the kindest, most loving man. I really enjoyed listening to his many Pearl Harbor stories. He was also great with my children. They loved him dearly. Any time they saw him outside, they would run to go talk to him. Those memories will be with us forever. He will truely be missed.
