Henry "Sue" Sonnier

Henry “Sue” Sonnier, 83, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Henry was born May 15, 1927, in Port Arthur, Texas to Henry & Emetile Sonnier and has lived in Port Arthur his entire life.

Henry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine Sonnier; Son, Rick Sonnier and wife Vicki of Port Neches, Texas; brother, Ernest Sonnier of Port Arthur, Texas; granddaughters, Kayla & Brooke Sonnier and a host of several nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., with a rosary service to be held at 6 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 10 a.m., at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with an entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to: Dr. John Lee, the entire 4th. Floor medical staff at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Home Care Elite nurses Shana & Carrie and caretakers, April, Ashley and Anisha.
