James Michael Bradford, 68, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on October 15, 2026. Born on September 29, 1958, James lived life in his own way, with a love for the people and things that made him happy. He was a man who knew how to enjoy the open road, appreciate the simple pleasures in life, and make memories that would last a lifetime.
James was a true lover of life's adventures. Whether he was riding his motorcycle with the wind in his face, cruising in his beloved Corvette, or relaxing to the timeless music of The Beatles, he found joy in doing what he loved. His pets held a special place in his heart, too, because James knew that some of life's most loyal companions have four legs and never ask for much in return. Above all, he treasured the people closest to him and the moments they shared.
For the past ten years, James shared his life with his beloved soulmate, Kathy Brandon. Together, they built a relationship filled with companionship, love, and memories that will forever remain close to her heart. His family and friends will remember him for the unique person he was, the passions that made him smile, and the special place he held in their lives.
James was preceded in death by his father, Reed R. Bradford, and his mother, Carol Tompkins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved soulmate of ten years, Kathy Brandon; his son, James Michael Bradford Jr.; his daughter, Michelle Marie Bradford; his brother, Charles Daniel Bradford (Rudy); and his granddaughter, Lexie Guest. He also leaves behind numerous other grandchildren, nieces, and many dear friends who will miss him more than words can express.
Though James may have taken his final ride, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His favorite songs will still bring smiles, the sight of a beautiful Corvette or a motorcycle on the open road may bring a fond memory, and the stories of James will continue to be told with laughter, love, and perhaps a little bit of mischief.
Ride easy, James. May the road ahead be endless, the music always be playing, and the memories you leave behind bring comfort and smiles to all who loved you.
