Aunt Joan was a special lady. She made me feel welcome in the family right from the start, as though I had always been there. She hired me to help when I needed a job and she was always such an inspiration. I regret not being able to see her more often when I was home. She will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Sonnier. She was a wonderful lady and always enjoyed seeing her when I worked at Grammier-Oberle for my family and afterwards. Mrs. Sonnier was a dear friend of my mother and father and we use to call her husband "Uncle Bob". The Thompson family and the Sonnier's were always great friends and we cherish the time we spent with them especially Mrs. Sonnier and "Uncle Bob". To all the kids, I just want to let you know how deeply sorry I am on the loss of your mother and if there is anything I can do let me know. She was always a "Special Lady" and we will miss her dearly!! Kevin Thompson and the Thompson Family.

What a beautiful lady. I never stopped loving her and would occasionally think of her, I’m glad I stopped in for a visit way back when I was in town. Again, what a wonderful person and the matriarch of a beautiful family. My family and I’s thoughts and prayers are with you all.
