In the early morning of Wednesday, July 29th John Wayne Breaux died in his sleep after battling complications from diabetes. He was met at the Pearly Gates by his father Richard Breaux, Sr., , His In-Laws Burley and Hazel Nolan and Brother In-Laws Kenny Wilks and Van Eubanks.
He was originally from Gueydan, LA but made his home in Port Acres, Texas. Where he loved living on 66th Street. His is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he proudly served his country as a Seabees. He retired as a fireman from a Port Arthur refinery where being at the helm of the fire engine was one of his greatest pleasures. Long standing member in the Little Flower church where he coached many athletic teams and participated in the CYO. He was a founding member of the Port Arthur Chapter of the Red Knights and his long-time passion was Square Dancing with his wife.
His is survived by his wife of 51 years Rita Nolan Breaux, His daughter Wendy, her husband Ted Bethea, His Mother Bernice Breaux Suire, His siblings Richard, Jr., Ronnie, Larry, Debra Wilks and Judy Comeaux. His in-laws: Marilyn Breaux, Sylvia Breaux, Gavin Comeaux, Leonard and Pat Nolan, Luther and Candy Nolan, Carolyn Eubanks and several nephews and nieces.
