Jose Luis Perez

José Luis Pérez, beloved husband, father, brother, and pastor, passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born March 17, 1954, to José Pérez and Rosa Pérez, both of whom preceded him in death.

José is survived by his wife, María Aguirre, and his children: Ana Luisa Martínez and husband, Miguel Martinez, Armando Pérez and wife Altagracia Perez, Cristina Acosta and husband, Leonel Acosta, Sandra Pérez-Estrada and husband Enrique Estrada, Brenda Zapata and husband, Gil Zapata, and Cristofer Pérez. Along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Rosario Cornejo and Antonio Pérez.

José was preceded in death by his siblings Santos, Miguel, Esteban, Irma, Enrique, and Amelia and his son Jose Miguel Perez. He was widowed by his wife Ana Maria Perez.

A man of deep faith, José served as a pastor and evangelical preacher. He was a generous supporter of ministries in Mexico. He loved sharing the gospel, and his faith touched countless lives. He will be deeply missed by all

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on May 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6:00 pm at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.

A Committal Service will be held on May 9, 2026, at 10:00 am at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
