Mr. Joseph JC Charles Eagleson Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Charles Eagleson, Jr., will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur, Texas at 10:00 a.m... Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m., until 9:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

Joseph Charles Eagleson, Jr. was born on Dec. 6, 1929, in Port Arthur to Joseph Charles Eagleson, Sr. and Pauline Choate Eagleson. JC graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1948. He retired from Gulf Oil and also from the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edwyna Sue King Eagleson, daughter Leslie Carol Eagleson, brothers Harold Gene Eagleson and Donald Ray Eagleson.

He is survived by his three children, Terry Eagleson and wife Vicky of Kirbyville, TX, Monica Pardue and husband Joseph of Hillister, TX and Christopher Eagleson and wife Natalie of Woodville, TX; four grandchildren, Corinne Kapileo, Danny Church, Jr., Mandy Carter Garcia and Robert Carter; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Irene Davis; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Eagleson and Georgia Ann Eagleson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.

The family would like to personally thank Dr. Farris and the Odyssey Hospice family for all of their time, support and loving care of Daddy.
