

Juanita Alice Hammock, 84, of Port Arthur, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Juanita was born August 8, 1926, in Port Arthur, Texas to Eddie and Lelia Guilbeau and has lived in Port Arthur her entire life.
Her hobbies included; cooking, eating, watching old movies, her dogs, being around her family, bingo, reading, watching the Food Network, Red Hats and the Cajun Assoc. Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hammock and parents.
She is survived by her sons, Lonnie Hammock and wife Sandy of Bridge City, Texas, Gary Hammock and wife Jody of Burkeville, Texas and Calvin Hammock and his partner Gene Wyatt of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Linda Rogers and husband Dave of New Caney, Texas; sister, Dorothy Sonnier and husband Jerry; six grandchildren, Tara Robertson and husband Jason of New Caney, Texas, Brandi Hammock of Bridge, City, Texas, Jason Cockerham and wife Angie of Groves, Texas, Brock Cockerham and wife April of Groves, Texas, Michael Die and wife London of Bridge City, Texas and Janie Lane of Bridge City, Texas; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
