June "Honey" Thorn

One of Honey’s favorite things to do was to have her grandchildren come over to have ice-cream and loved being around her “Great-Ones”.

Honey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Thorn and a sister, Mary Forsmo. She is survived by her son, David Coates, Sr., and his wife, Natalie of Nederland; daughter, Linda Cousins and her husband, Larry; brothers, Ted Daniels and Charles Daniels. Grandchildren include Melissa Juranek, Tasha Wofford, Jamie Garza, David Coates, Jr., Grant Coates and Drew Coates; great-grandchildren, Bryce Conde, Katie Perez, Gavin Garza, Kira Juranek, Blake Juranek, Abby Wofford, Hannah Wofford, Jaxon Wofford and Isabella Coates.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Services for June Thorn will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
