A lifelong musician, Larry shared his gift generously and brought joy to those around him. He could play nearly any instrument in the band and was also a talented singer. With his band, Larry traveled to perform in Port Arthur, Groves, Crystal Beach, Galveston, Beaumont, and other venues across Texas. Over the years, Larry made several records and videos featuring his songs and was a member of the American Federation of Musicians.
Outside of music, Larry loved God deeply, and prayer was an important part of his life. He also worked at local plants and in the construction industry. He enjoyed taking on projects, whether working on his truck or building something new. He loved being outdoors and working with his hands.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Zoie and Rosemary, and his 10 siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Alissa; his two granddaughters; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Larry’s Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on November 5, 2026, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St., Port Arthur, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. that morning. Larry’s music, faith, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
