Louis Lincoln Abraham
October 12, 1936 – April 2, 2011
Louis Lincoln Abraham, 74, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at St. Mary Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1936 in Port Arthur, TX to the late Louis and Christine Abraham. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. He retired in 1998 from Local Union 195 after 30 years of service. Lincoln was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur. He proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Mansfield. Lincoln was stationed in Formosa, Hong Kong, Japan and the Philippines, where he met his wife, Dorrie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4600 Proctor St., Port Arthur, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St., Port Arthur.
A Gathering of his Family and Friends will be Monday, April 4, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
Lincoln was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Abraham; and a daughter-in-law, Christie Tremonte.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorrie Bruselas Abraham of Port Arthur; 3 sons, Bobby Abraham of Port Arthur, Art Abraham and his wife, Michelle of Flower Mound, and Paul Abraham of Bridge City; 2 sisters, Mary Delafosse and her husband, Johnny of Fannett, Helen Alford and her husband, Gordon of Port Arthur; 2 brothers, Jeff Abraham and his wife, Loreli of Groves, and Danny Abraham and his partner, Bill White of Eureka Springs, AR; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Krista, Kody and Kyla; and many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

"Aunt" Dorrie, Bobby, Paul, and Art: Very sorry to hear about Lincoln's passing. Some of my best memories growing up was spending time at your house. I know that he and mom were very close. I will miss Lincoln greatly.
