Lucas is described by his family as a honorable man who loved his family, country and friends. Lucas proudly served our country in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman and completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, earning the rank of Specialist. Lucas was decorated for his heroic service during his service time and was considered his family’s hero. Lucas was known for his smile, his blue eyes, his great sense of humor and was known to be a practical joker. He will be missed by many in his family and his community.
Lucas is preceded in death by his birth father, Gary Lynn Aubrey and grandfather, William Allen Duvall.
Lucas is survived by his mother, Jan Marie Duvall Blackwell, father, Paul W. Blackwell, sons, Andrew Scott Casner and Johnathan Kochis, daughters, Malyssa Casner and Aeidyn Lea Aubrey, sister, Jillian House and her husband Earnie of Woodville; nieces, Lina House and Virginia House.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012, from 1:00p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
