Marco Antonio Hernandez

Marco Antonio Hernandez, 45, of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur. Marco was born August 13, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Baltazar Hernandez and Ella M. Fiallos. Marco was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Marco enjoyed fishing, crabbing and spending quality time with his friends and his family. He could best be described as the life of any social engagement.

Marco was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Escobar Lopez.

Marco is survived by his wife, Maria “Ivonne” Hernandez, father, Baltazar Hernandez, birthmother, Ella M. Fiallos, son, Marco Antonio Hernandez, Jr., daughters, Mercedes Hernandez, Monique Castillo, brothers, Samuel Fiallos, Jose Fiallos, Johnny Fiallos sisters, Brenda Hernandez, Carmen Torres, Claudia Lambert, Maria Bulas and a grandson, Antonio Nicholaz Castillo.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves. Rev. Blanco of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will be officiating services.
