Janis, Randy and Douglas - So sorry for your loss. We are keeping you in our prayers.

Dear Janis, Randy and Douglas.....We're thinking of you all and of your beautiful Mother.  Such wonderful memories of times in Austin and gatherings in Port Arthur as kids.  I can still see a great photo of Aunt Margaret as a gorgeous "stewardess in my mind" - I thought she looked like a movie star.  Love you all - so glad you have each other to hold.  Cousin Vicki

We are so sorry for the loss. May you feel His loving arms surround you to comfort you, as you reflect on many cherished memories and celebrate a beautiful life well lived. We rejoice with you that she is with our precious Lord.

I only knew Margaret through her wonderful daughter, Janis, and the loving, caring thoughts expressed for her wellbeing in the recent past.  May the loving remembrance of her life shared be a treasure and comfort to her family and friends always.

It was a great joy to be a part of her life.  Her enthusiasm and respect for her colleagues was a real treasure.  She will be truly missed!!

Margaret's life is worth celebrating. I only knew her as the mother of my dear friend, Janis, but meeting her was my distinct pleasure and honor. I found her to be a bright, gracious lady full of life and many interests. I am thankful for having known her, if but briefly. My sincere condolences to her family and friends who surely will treasure her memory.

Mimi was precious to me as her daughter, she brought me up in the Lutheran Church (and preschool - sixth grade starting out in Port Arthur and ending up in 4-6 grade at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Austin).  Her mother, our dear MawMaw, also took me many times to her Baptist Church in Groves, Texas. So I have a wonderful background of learning many bible verses and beautiful songs of Praising Jesus. Without Christian parents and very large wonderful family upbringing in the Church, I don't know where I would be today. I certainly am happy and at peace that my mother is now in Heaven feasting on heavenly food with her parents, husband and loved ones that have gone before us! I thank GOD for the wonderful 92 years Mimi was on this earth - she was a blessing to her family and many friends.
