Marian F. Wells, age 77, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Groves, TX. Marian was a native of Ypsilanti, Michigan. She retired from the Port Arthur Police Department as a school crossing guard. In her pastime Marian enjoyed spending time knitting and crocheting and making blankets and caps for newborns which she donated to the hospital for them to receive.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Murrel and Mildred Ducote Wells, and her sister, Marilyn. Marian is survived by her adopted family, Sharon and Camille Roccaforte, Michelle and Dane Hollier and their children, Gage, Ryder and Everly Hollier.
A Visitation for Marilyn will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. Marian will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
