

Mary Lucile O’Niell Cimino, 87, of Port Arthur, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2012. Mary Lucile was born in Port Arthur on June 18, 1925, to the late John and Eleanor O’Niell. Mary was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and could best be described as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Mary spent her entire life helping others, caring for those who were less fortunate or who were in need, and caring for her family. When she became disabled, she never forgot to remind others to do her works of charity and love. Mary Lucile never met a stranger and loved to talk and visit about everything from politics and news to her favorite sports team, the Dallas Cowboys. She loved music, dancing, watching talent shows on T.V., and did beautiful latch hook rugs for her home and family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and love of her life, Ben Cimino, sister Eileen Embree, and brother John A. O’Niell.
Mary Lucile is survived by her son, Jerry Cimino of Houston; daughters, Rebecca Veazey and her husband Jimmy of Port Arthur; and Janell Roquemore of Houston; brother, Pat O’Niell and his wife Iris of Groves; grandchildren, Dean Guidry, Julie Guidry, Deirdre Roquemore, and Amber Anderson and her husband Charles of Houston; step grandchildren, James Veazey, Cliff Veazey, Shea Veazey and Paul LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Sienna Torres and Julian Guidry; Step great grandchildren, James Michael Veazey, Brittany Veazey, Breanna Veazey, Cason Veazey, Kyleigh Veazey, Caleb LeBlanc, and Jaydon LeBlanc; her dedicated, loyal and loving caregivers, Johnnie Mae Green , Stephanie Johnson, and Pat Derosia.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a wake service to be held at 7:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at St. Peters Catholic Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
