Rebecca Lyn Thomisee

Rebecca Lyn Thomisee, 63, of Lumberton passed away Friday, October 31, 2014. Becky was born September 28, 1951 in Port Arthur, TX; to Dewey Carlyle Smith and Verna Mae Venable Borel. She was a loving mother and a very energetic and vibrant woman. She was a team mom on every sport imaginable for years and ran the concession stands for Port Neches Little League and Pony Code. Becky and her husband hosted Halloween Events for years.

Becky is preceded in death by her father, Dewey Carlyle Smith; mother, Verna Borel; step-father, Joseph Borel; and sister, Denise Devillier. She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky Thomisee of Lumberton; sons, Damon Thomisee and wife Jacqui of Dallas, TX; Dustin Thomisee and wife Erica of Port Arthur, TX; grandson, Ethan Thomisee; and step-brothers, Ronnie Borel and wife Kelly and Bobby Borel and wife Jan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
