Ronald C. Broussard, 88, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on August 4, 2026. Born on October 1, 1937, Ronald lived a life defined by hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family. Known as a "Simple Man," he found joy in life's everyday moments and showed his love through kindness, dependability, and quiet acts of service.
Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and carried the values of discipline and dedication throughout his life. He enjoyed working in his yard, helping others whenever he could, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Broussard; his sons, Willie Broussard (Karen), Charles Broussard (Cressa), and Philip Broussard; his brother, Tracy Broussard; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Telesphore and Enola Broussard; his brothers, Howard Broussard and Leroy Broussard; and his sister, Ada Jean Fontenot.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, Texas. A Celebration of Ronald's Life will begin at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
