Ronald was born on June 15, 1939, in Port Arthur, Texas to Oscar and May Rose Wehmeyer and has been a lifelong resident. He retired from Ameripol Synpol as a plant supervisor.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald A. Wehmeyer and wife Debbie of Port Arthur and Keith Wehmeyer and wife Kimberly of Bridge City; brother, Dennis Wehmeyer of Groves; sister, Janice Dartez and Carolyn Wright both of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Brandy Wehmeyer Colunga, Connie Wehmeyer, Kourtney Wehmeyer and Kacie Wehmeyer and five great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 4:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2010, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010, with Rev. Richard Turner officiating at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Nederland.
