ROY A GARCIA, age 68, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Roy was born March 21, 1953. He was a native of Port Arthur, Texas; born on March 21, 1953, to parents Beatrice Valdez and Raul Garcia. He was an employee of Valero Port Arthur Refinery for 49 years. He was a Member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Joel Garcia.
He is survived by his children, Shanni Garcia of Orange, TX, Gena Duhon and her husband Raylon of Deweyville, TX, Tina Vaquera of Nederland, TX, Atalia Garcia of Orange, TX, Rio Garcia of Orange, TX a a step daughter Whitney Bowie and her husband Jeremy of Deweyville, TX. Also, he is survived by his grandchildren, Mauricio Vaquera, Mariah Vaquera, David Vaquera, Armani Chavez, Jonathan Hammond, Cullen Hammond & Deklan Duhon and great grandchildren, Camden Vaquera, Carina Vaquera & Ezio Villarreal.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Roy will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church will occur Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
Roy will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
