Rubén will be remembered for his life, his roots in La Lagunilla, and the love he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Blanca Torres; daughter, Laura; sons, Oscar and Miguel; grandchildren; many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ruben Torres will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Chapel, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642, on May 7, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Catholic Funeral Mass for Ruben Torres will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3648 S/Sgt. Lucian Adams Drive, Port Arthur, Texas 77642, on May 8, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
