Sheri Denise (Richie) Whiddon

Sheri is survived by her husband, Mark Whiddon; her mother, Elsie Sue Warner; her sons, Caleb Whiddon and Estan Whiddon; and her sisters, Holly Zoch and husband Hans, and LaDonna Templin and husband Michael. She also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews, and fourteen great nieces and nephews.

Sheri was an (LVN) nurse for more than 30 years, working in hospitals and home health in both Port Arthur during her earlier years and in Katy, Texas in the later years. Sheri has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, dancing in the golden streets of Heaven, but she will be terribly missed by all who love her here.

Sheri was preceded in death by her father, Sherrill Richie.

Pallbearers will be Michael Templin, John MacMurray, Brandon Brown, Hans Zoch, Michael Zoch, and Richard Eide.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Whiddon and Estan Whiddon.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, located at 4841 39th St., Port Arthur, Texas, 77642, on December 12, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of “Sheri’s” Life will take place at the Chapel of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, at the same address, on December 13, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
