

Sydney was Catholic and a member of St. James parish. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1981, later received two associate degrees from Lamar University Port Arthur in computer science. She briefly worked for Housing and Urban Development in Houston.
Sydney enjoyed astronomy and music; her favorite singer was Phil Collins. She was a science fiction enthusiast who loved movies and computer games. Sydney was tender-hearted, generous and had a good sense of humor. She was extremely fond of small children.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Lee Landry Wroten of Port Arthur, her father, James Ray Wroten of Port Arthur, and her sister, Lee Annette Wroten of Baytown. She was the granddaughter of the late Odillia and C.J. Landry of Port Arthur, and the late Vera Branham of Port Arthur, and the late C.C. Wroten of Alexandria, Louisiana.
Sydney passed away from a bleeding stroke, which was a complication of Turner Syndrome. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Turner Syndrome Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 726, Holmdel, NJ 07733 or turnersyndromefoundation.org.
