Thomas served in the Army, carrying forward a steady sense of duty that showed up throughout his life in quiet, dependable ways. He worked as a boom operator for 30 years on the water, years marked by hard work, loyalty, and the kind of reliability people count on without needing to ask twice.
More than anything, Thomas loved his family, and he showed it by being there, at every family event, in the stands watching his grandkids play sports, and in the everyday moments that become the memories everyone holds closest. His generosity and compassion were also felt beyond the family circle, especially in his soft heart for stray animals; he often took in cats and dogs in need of shelter and care, offering them comfort and a place to belong.
At home, Thomas found peace in simple, honest pleasures: fishing, working in his back yard, and tending to his garden. And he always had a fond appreciation for “Cathy’s Kitchen,” as he liked to call it—those meals made by his daughter-in-law that he enjoyed with gratitude and a familiar warmth that made the table feel like the center of everything.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Doroteo Trevino; his mother, Maria Ramirez; his son, Micheal Trevino; his great granddaughter, Brynley Rose Trevino; his brothers, Julio Trevino, Jimmie Trevino, Jesse Trevino, and Nick Trevino; and his sisters, Mary Alice, Teresa Flores, Julia Trevino, Refina Collozo, and Virginia Perales.
