Anastasios Reveliotis

Born on June 15, 1940, in Kapsia, Greece, Anastasios immigrated to the United States in 1960 in pursuit of the American Dream—a dream he proudly achieved through hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

He was the beloved husband of the late Efthimia Reveliotis, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Efthimia came to the United States in 1966, and the two met soon thereafter, falling in love and marrying in 1967. Together they built a beautiful life centered on family, faith, and dedication to one another.

Anastasios was the loving father of Maria Mecchi and her husband, Matthew; George Reveliotis and his wife, Janet; and his late daughter-in-law, Tessie. He was the devoted Papou of Thomas, Michael, Nicholas, and Emmy, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his cherished siblings, Vassiliki Giannikas; Panagiota Stavropoulos and her husband, George; and Nick Reveliotis and his wife, Dina, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

In 1980, Anastasios and Efthimia began working together, eventually becoming the proud owners and operators of The Green Room restaurant in Kings Park, New York. Through their dedication and warm hospitality, they built not only a successful business but also lasting friendships within the community.

Although he embraced his life in America, Anastasios never forgot his roots. He and Efthimia treasured their trips back to Greece to visit family and lifelong friends. They also enjoyed traveling to Florida, Brooklyn and Boston to spend time with loved ones. No matter the distance, Anastasios always made it a priority to stay connected, regularly calling family and friends simply to hear their voices and share in their lives.

Above all else, Anastasios adored his family. He found his greatest happiness surrounded by those he loved, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Larger than life, he was known for his boundless energy, infectious smile, and joyful spirit. Whether singing a favorite song or dancing at every opportunity, he had a remarkable ability to bring happiness to everyone around him. His warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and love of life will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption, 430 Sheep Pasture Road, Port Jefferson, NY 11777.

Interment will follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, 833 Jamaica Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208.

Though his presence will be profoundly missed, Anastasios leaves behind a legacy of love, perseverance, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
