Donna was the beloved wife of 58 years to Richard F. DiRienz. She was the loving mother of Kimberly DiRienz and Candace Calamusa, and the adored grandmother of Emily Calamusa. She was also the cherished sister of Joyce Purvis (Stan).
Donna’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and created a lifetime of memories that will remain in their hearts forever. She adored her granddaughter, Emily, and would lovingly sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her—a special memory that will always be treasured.
Donna had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cat, Luci. She was also a devoted New York Yankees fan and enjoyed the music and dancing of the 1950s and 1960s.
Donna will be remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the many simple moments of happiness she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters, granddaughter, sister, extended family, and all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Prayer service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Cremation will be private.
