Doris was the beloved wife of 43 years to Michael P. She was the cherished sister of Frank Raspanti (Donna) and Lawrence Raspanti. She was a loving auntie to Frank Raspanti Jr. (Danielle), Jeanine Alvarado (Miguel), and Michael Raspanti (Sasha), and an adored and devoted great-auntie to Frankie, Mia, Dylan, Ava, Gabriel, and Grayson.
Doris had a beautiful way of making everyone around her feel loved, heard, and cared for. She loved animals, the beach, and taking long drives out to the East End of Long Island. She especially enjoyed stopping at the local farm stands, always returning home with fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh fish.
Family was at the heart of Doris's life. She loved spending time with everyone and treasured the many moments shared together. To Frankie, Mia, and Dylan, Doris was much more than an auntie—she was like a grandmother. She watched over them, helped them with their homework, and was always there to encourage and support them. The special bond they shared was truly extraordinary and will remain a treasured part of their lives forever.
Doris also found great joy in bringing her family together around the dinner table. She loved cooking Sunday dinners, and her pasta pesto was a family favorite that everyone looked forward to. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and love.
Above all, Doris will be remembered for her generous heart. She gave the most loving hugs, was always there for anyone who needed her, and genuinely cared about the lives of those around her. She had a gift for listening and took a sincere interest in everyone's stories. Her love, kindness, and devotion to her family created memories that will be cherished forever.
Doris leaves behind a lifetime of love and countless beautiful memories in the hearts of her husband, family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
