Leonard Pennisi passed on June 11, 2026, at the age of 83; he was born on August 10, 1942, in New York City, New York, and was a resident of Ocala, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pennisi; his daughters, Lisa Pennisi, Lauren Pennisi, and Barbara Pennisi; his sons, Leonard Pennisi, Charles Pennisi, Gregory Pennisi (Lee Pennisi), and Frank Pennisi (Dawn Pennisi); his brother, Frank Pennisi; and his sisters, Margaret Guinta and Annette Somple. Lenny is cherished by his 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.

Afternoon Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, US, on June 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and Evening Visitation will be held there on June 18, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Louis de Montfort R.C. Church, 75 New York Avenue, Sound Beach, New York 11789, on June 19, 2026, followed by Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11727, on June 19, 2026.
