Theresa M. Kluko

Born on November 14, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, Theresa lived a life centered on love, family, laughter, and generosity. She was the beloved wife of the late John Kluko, with whom she shared nearly 50 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, treasured traditions, and countless cherished memories.

Theresa was the loving mother of Joan Bilardello (Joseph), Philip Kluko (Maureen), Elizabeth Gallagher (Michael), and Juliann Keane (John). She was the cherished and devoted grandmother of John, Lauren (Forest), Matthew, Caitlin (Joseph), Kelsey (Christopher), Erin (Phil), Brendan (Jenna), and Jared, and the adored great-grandmother of Grace, Gianna, Isabella, and CJ.

Family was always at the center of Theresa's life. Her home was where everyone gathered, especially for her beloved Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas Eve celebrations. Those holidays were filled with delicious food, laughter, and the love she so effortlessly shared with everyone around her.

Theresa had a smile that could brighten any room and a joyful spirit that was contagious. She loved to sing and delighted her grandchildren by making up silly songs just for them—songs that have become treasured family memories and are still sung today. She was a gifted crocheter whose handmade blankets and mittens will continue to provide comfort and remind her family of her love for years to come.

She and John shared a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring the world together, creating wonderful memories in Ireland, Italy, England, the Caribbean, and the Dominican Republic. At home, they enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including sharing a glass of their favorite boxed White Zinfandel, a tradition that always brought smiles and laughter.

After John's passing, Theresa found faithful companionship in her beloved Silky Terrier, Toto, who brought her comfort, joy, and unconditional love. A lifelong dog lover, Toto held a special place in her heart.

Theresa's legacy is one of unconditional love, kindness, laughter, and family traditions. Her gentle nature, unwavering devotion to those she loved, and ability to make everyone feel welcome will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gerard Majella RC Church, 300 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

Interment will immediately follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933.

Though her family grieves her loss, they find comfort knowing that Theresa's love, traditions, songs, laughter, and beautiful smile will live on in their hearts for generations to come.
