Thomas J. Randall, of Port Jefferson, New York, passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 81. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Judi, with whom he shared a life filled with love, creativity, and adventure; his son, Andrew, and daughter-in-law, Robin; and his cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Emily, who brought him great joy. He was predeceased by his beloved brother, David Randall, whom he held dear.
A lifelong educator, Thomas inspired others through his love of learning and his appreciation for the arts. A gifted artist, he found joy and expression in painting, particularly in the expressionist style of oil painting. His creativity extended to the written word as well, as he and Judi co-authored several books, sharing their thoughts, imagination, and love of literature with others.
Thomas and Judi also shared a deep love of travel, with a special fondness for Paris, France, a city whose beauty, art, and romance held a special place in their hearts. Their travels and creative pursuits were a reflection of a life lived with curiosity, passion, and a profound appreciation for the world around them.
Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love, artistic expression, cherished memories, and the many lives he touched as a teacher, artist, writer, husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May his memory forever be a blessing, and may the beauty he brought into the world through his art, words, and love continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
