Born in The Bronx, NY, Ben retired to Florida in the 1990s, after a career with Consolidated Edison in New York.
After serving our country’s Navy with pride during the Korean War, Ben rose at Con Ed, becoming one of the country’s first nuclear control room operators and then a manager at Van Nest shops in the Bronx.
Pt. St. Lucie has been his home for 23 years; Ben was influential in his local association. Friends remember his passions for bowling, opera, books, the Sons of Italy, but mostly his family and the New York Yankees.
