Steven J Katzman, 70, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully
in his home on Friday, July 19, 2019. Steven was born on March 13,
1949 in New York, NY to parents Jerry and Annette (Kostrinsky)
Katzman. He was raised in Hillsdale, New Jersey and attended Pascack
Valley High School (Class of 1967). Steven set his sights on accounting
and finance and attended both Bentley College and the University of
Miami.
After studying at the University of Miami, Steven made Florida his
home. He was a small business owner, and his savvy entrepreneurial
endeavors allowed him to establish many businesses from Miami to the
west coast of Florida. In addition, Steven previously served as Director
of Marketing for Liberty Travel/GOGO tours.
Steven treasured his lifelong friends, and he enjoyed travelling all
around the country to visit them. Loyal and dependable, Steven was
always there for his family and friends. He had a quick wit, generous
personality and a sense of humor that made everyone around him
happy.
Steven was an avid golfer and spent much of his free time on the
golf course. He volunteered at Palm Cove Golf Course in Palm City, FL
and The Saints Golf Course in Port Saint Lucie, FL. His love of family and
friends could only be challenged when it came to tee time, and Steven
was most proud of his two holes-in-one.
Steven is survived by his brother, Randy Katzman of Bradenton,
FL, and many aunts and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved
companion, Joan Beshong of Port Saint Lucie, FL.
