

Born in Pittston, PA, Adam was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 21 years, moving from Maryland.
During WWII and the Korean Conflict, Adam served in the U.S. Navy.
Prior to retirement, he was a Public Printer for the U.S. Government.
He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Anna Mae (Marcinko) Trypus of Port St. Lucie, FL; six children: Carol A. Svenson (Sőnke) of Arlington, MA; Evonne M. Rice (Shaun) of Fayetteville NC; Adam L. Trypus, Jr. (Andy Snyder) of Jessup, MD; Amy V. Newton (Todd) of Chicago, IL; Anna Mae C. Trypus of Tampa, FL; John F. Trypus (Deborah) of Westfield, IN; and eleven grandchildren: Alexander, Larissa, Nickolas, Clark, Jade, Veronica, Chase, Aubrey, Hayden, Kennedy and Brooklyn. He will also be missed by his dog, Sweet “P”.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 9, 2011, 11:00AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.
Burial will be in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
