Alice, age 83 was born in Quakake, PA and moved to Baltimore MD in early childhood. She married young and raised her six children in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Later in life, she and her husband Walter moved to Port Saint Lucie to enjoy their retirement and excellent weather.

Alice enjoyed her family, reading books, smooth jazz and spending time at the beach. Alice is pre-deceased by her husband Walter J Maher, her parents Walter G and Louise C Bennett and her two brothers Walter and William Bennett. She is survived by her loving siblings Laura Schmidt and twin brothers Gordon and Robert Bennett. Alice is also survived by her six children Louise Trotman (Joe), Linda George, Steven George (Denise), Doug George (Janet), Kim Benagh (Bill), Christina Sellitto (Curt) and 12 grandchildren, Heather, Nick, Christopher, Michael, Natalia, Cecily, Noelle, Christy, Anthony, Eric, Allison and Billy and her 7 Great Grandchildren Kate, Lucas, Harper, Caleb, Ava, Chance and JR.

Donations may be given in Alice’s memory to the Treasure Coast Hospice. The family would like to express their deep gratitude for expressions of love and concern exhibited through cards, prayers, visits, and meals during this time of need.
