I was shocked to hear that my good friend Butch had passed away.. We go way back to the old neighborhood in Valley stream.. He came from a wonderful family, his. Sister Diane and his sister Gloria were like mothers to the both of us. If we got in trouble his sister Gloria was always there to bail us out. And boy did we get in trouble. And Gloria was the greatest cook, the whole gangwas always at his house. His niece Jeanine grew up to become a beautiful woman. Butch was so lucky to have such a loving family.......The best!!!especially after his father passed they became even closer. What wonderful memories hanging out at Butchs house. Thankyou, Gloria, Butch and Diane , can't forget Jeanine , oh and his neice and Friend Tommie., for the good memories of our childhood together. God rest your soul, my old friend.. Mal. Oh before I forget, the family had a little memorial for you and I m sure you heard your Grandaughter Laila sing your favorite song.

I waited a lifetime for you. It has been a wonderful time for Belle, Anthony, Tommy and I. My siblings and I don’t really know each other. Or, sadly had never met. We are connected by our love for you!! Your grandson misses you terribly! He’s finding some peace that your soul has drifted to heaven, like cotten candy to the clouds. Belle is broken hearted!! So quiet my girl!! So happy to have found you.
I’m proud I could keep you laughing all the time!!!
My heart is my own!! I’m blessed to have mommy help me with your loss. I smiled to hear our Natali’s voice this week.
Donna is heartbroken. I’m here for her as you asked, as I should be, as I want to be.
Aunt Gloria, Janine and I speak often. . They’re heart broken as is Aunt Diane. I make sure to thank Janine for loving and taking care of you.
Rest In Peace daddy!!!

Although we never met “in person”, your life together with my “Queen” friend Donna has been vicariously lived and loved through Facebook. I finally got to meet Donna at Mel’s and was able to see the love and endearment she shared on personal level about you. May your soul be at peace and the smile you always had be ever present in eternity. You will be missed that is certain. My deepest sympathy to your entire family. Catherine
