Anita McLaughlin

A kind-hearted soul, Anita Danscak McLaughlin, left this earth on October 13, 2022. She lived in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with her husband, Donald McLaughlin of 52 years. Anita was born in 1950 in Homestead, PA, and was the daughter of the late Julia (Sheptak) and the late George Danscak. Together Don and Anita had two children, the late Corey McLaughlin (Emily) and Amy McLaughlin Porter(Mike). Anita had four grandchildren, Andrew and Anna McLaughlin of Atlanta, GA and Justin and Adam Porter of Hampton Township, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Danscak Kuhl (late Gary).

Anita LOVED having fun!! She was quick witted, an avid shopper, and an exceptional entertainer. She loved to have neighborhood friends over to celebrate any and all occasions. Anita had a glitzy personality only to be matched by her wardrobe. Her generous nature was apparent in all that she touched.

Anita's greatest joy was having her grandchildren in her life. She took them on vacations, played games always giving them special prizes, took them to arts and craft classes, and cooked and baked with them. She was as straightforward with the kids as she was with anyone else. She always made sure the grandchildren were at the center of her world.

The heart and soul of our family has left a huge void in our hearts and will be sorely missed.
