

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 17 years, moving from Teaneck, NJ.
Prior to retirement, Bernice was a Registered Nurse for 42 years.
Mrs. Robinson was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie, FL. She was also a member of the Port St. Lucie African American Literary Club in Port St. Lucie, FL, as well as the National Women’s Church United.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Howard F. Robinson in 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Robinson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Keith Robinson and wife Elaine of Teaneck, NJ; one daughter, Sheila Jeffries and husband Alfred of Chestnut Ridge, NY; six grandchildren, Nicole, David, Michael, Alicia, Franklin and Jeremy; two great-grandsons, Xavier, William; one brother, Joseph Humphrey of St. Albans, Queens, NY; and several nieces and nephews..
Friends and family may call Friday, October 28, 2011 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the First Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie, FL, with a Funeral Service following at 11:00AM at the Church.
