Carmel developed many close friendships over the years, especially with a small group who came to be known as “The Golden Girls” with whom she travelled extensively.
After retirement, Carmel and Pete moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1992 where they found great joy in the year-round warm weather and visits from family, many of whom moved, over the years, to be near them in Florida.

Carmel loved, and was loved by her family, her day care children, her friends and by so many people who came to know her during her long life. She will always be remembered and will be deeply missed.
