Charles A Stein

He was born in Turtle Creek, PA and moved to the area in 1999, moving from Dania Beach, FL. He worked as a postal clerk for over 33 years in Turtle Creek, PA as well as Miami, FL. Charles was a member of St Andrew Lutheran Church in Port St Lucie, FL. He was also a member of and organist of the Elks Lodge # 2658 of Port St Lucie, Moose Lodge #513 of Port St Lucie, American Legion of Port Lucie, FL. He was also an avid keyboard player, and loved playing music.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Helen “Pinky” Stein of Port St Lucie, FL son, Douglas (Bonnie) Stein of Lake Worth, FL, four daughters, Peggy (Bob) Bowman of Port St Lucie, FL, Adrienne (Joseph) Demma of Windermere, FL, Susan (Scott) Bryant of North Port, FL, Sandy (Rod) Dufty of Jefferson, GA, eight grandchildren, Mark, Cleo, Michael, Benay, Melanie, Garret, Emily and Greg, and two great grandchildren, Mark and Aimee.

He was predeceased by his son, Paul Stein.

A memorial service will be held at St Andrew Lutheran Church on Sunday Sept 2nd at 1:00 PM.
