Clarice Hamilton

Clarice was born to the late Lillian Gray and James Oakley on October 3, 1924 in Portland, Jamaica West Indies. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund Lawson Hamilton. She came to the USA in 1967, became a US citizen in 1974. She worked at Park Avenue Restorative Health Care in Bridgeport, CT as supervisor for the housekeeping department for twenty years.

She leaves three sons: Desmond Hamilton his wife Francine of Bridgeport, CT, Rowan Hamilton and his wife Pat of Birmingham, AL and Bryan Hamilton and his wife Marva of Milford, CT, three daughters, Barbara Rodrigues her husband Tony of Margate FL, Elaine Johnson and her husband Vincent of Bridgeport, CT and Devona (Donna) Lindsay and her husband Leonard of Port St. Lucie, FL, 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, host of many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday June 8, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL. There will be a services on Saturday June 9, 2012 at 1st Congregational Church of Port St. Lucie at 11:00 AM .

Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce, FL.
