

Born in Grantley, Ontario, Canada, Dale was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1982, moving from Pembroke Pines, FL.
During WWII, Mr. Carr served in the US Army, receiving the Purple Heart.
Prior to retirement, he was a foreman in the Construction Industry in the Miami Beach area; and prior to that he owned and operated Dale’s Restaurant in Brewster, NY.
Dale was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie, FL. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan I. Carr January 24, 2011, and one grandson Zachary Alley in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie and husband Donald Alley, Jr., of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Trevor and Troy Alley, both of Port St. Lucie, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 7:00PM – 9:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 11AM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.
Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL
